19 August 12-17 2017 Body Politic Workshop – CPH Pride special edition

The body politic workshop from the Wanderlost digital art festival has been invited to participate in the Queerlands, behind the rainbow event for Copenhagen Pride 2017.

Get ready for the fabulous, creative and colorful Body Politic – screen print workshop #queerlands special edition by Clare Farrell (London) and the Last Butcher Shop (Copenhagen) (-Soren B Meisterbrau , Zoe Ada Stewart Bruun) and Martin høyer Johansen.

Turn your body and clothes into a positive statement and change the world around you!. All materials will be provided. Just bring a T-shirt or some clothes you wish to upcycle. You can also print on fabric you can stich on afterwards. (available at the workshop)

BODY POLITIC – Clare Farell (London)
Based in London, Clare is currently working with various clients sourcing and managing design and development of sustainable fashion products. She holds a BA in fashion, and has worked across the UK high street, luxury and ethical sectors whilst always keeping an interest in politics, the environment and activism. In 2014 she started her own line of technical women’s cycle wear, No Such Thing, designed and developed with performance, recyclability and low toxicity in mind.
Continuously researching, and particularly interested in environmental and cultural studies, Clare enjoys guest lecturing at various universities including Central Saint Martins, London College of Fashion, Goldsmiths and Birmingham City University.

Now working on #bodypolitic, a project developed to turn human bodies in public space into messages of positive resistance she is combining her activist work and fashion design career in a new way.

Clare is also the founder of No Such Thing who designTechnical women’s cycle wear.


The last butcher shop is an eclectic fashion design and art collective, we want to create an atmosphere were you can come and see and buy something a little special, we are also interested in where and how our products are produced, we try to create a space of creativity and sustainability while having fun.
